FROSTED

Hello everyone!!

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer this month at White with 1 Challenge Blog!!

This month's challenge was to use the color Misty Mountains:

Here the mood board offered for inspiration:

I decided to stick with more wintery pictures from last year.
I sure wish we would get some more snow here!

I used some patterned papers from Heidi Grace and some colored scraps.

The snowflake border is made of felt and I was lucky to find these felt letters too!

The icicles are chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments that were painted white.

I am so thankful to be a part of the White with 1 group.

Stop by and see what the challenges are and play along!

Play On!

Wrapping up my scrapping for tonight.
Unfortunately,  I have to get ready for work tomorrow...

Here is my last page for the day:

I had this music paper with the center circle already cut out from a previous project.
I had to give up on cutting the bigger picture into a circle.  I just couldn't get it centered enough.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketch N Scrap # 193:

Have a good night!

Band Buddies

My daughter has so many great friends through band.
It's great to see how much fun they all have together.

I used a few scraps here - I'm conserving my music note paper.
I have many more pic to scrap and will need lots more of it later.

Here is the sketch that inspired me from Sketches in Thyme #405:

Time for a break!

Music Maker

Mixing things up between wedding and band pictures is certainly keeping me from burn out!

Here is a multi photo band page:

I used this sketch from Scrap Our Stash to get started:

Love that I use so many pictures!
I used a circle cutter on music note paper and inked the edges black.
The orange chevron print was in the scrap pile.  That was a great find!
For the gold part,  I added a trumpet piece.
She is playing the Mellophone here, but there no embellishments for that instrument.
Since it's close enough, and she does play trumpet at times, I thought it was a great addition to the page.

Beautiful

I don't know how many I can use the same title on a wedding page, but seeing as I have many more pictures to scrap,  I'm sure it will come up again and again.

For this page, I played BINGO with Scrap Our Stash:

I chose to work diagonally:

Washi tape - silver along the corners
Mist - purple on the white background
Doily
Bling

I cannot believe how well these are together when I was planning my page!
Once I saw that diagonal line, I knew I had a BINGO!

Make Music

Good morning!  I have been working really hard on getting these school pics and wedding pics done!
I've been pretty good at getting at least one page done every day, just very far behind on posting them....lol.

Here is a band page I put together.
I used lots of scraps I dug out of the stash.

And here is the sketch I used from Let's Get Sketchy:

Off to take care of more pictures!

I Do

Last page for today....

I used black ink on the outer edge of the doilie...and accidentally touched it and didn't know I was leaving black spots all over the page until I was done adding the flowers.  So I tried to use a little white out on it to hide it.
I'll think of something else to cover it up...

Here is the sketch I used from Rochelle:

Good night!

Joy

Another wedding page for today.  I'm all over the place with my subjects this week, but it keeps me from getting burned out on the same subject, colors, ....

I started out with sketch # 192 from Sketch N Scrap:

I've been saving all of my scraps from the wedding pages.
I feel so productive when I can use them up and not cut up a whole new sheet of paper.
I used a thin ribbon on the border of the purple insert sheet.
The title is a wooden piece I found at Tuesday Morning that I covered with silver Stickles.

Pretty

After a long day of walking, cleaning and organizing...I decided to work on a page again.  I was going to take the day off and keep organizing...but...lol

Here is what I came up with:

A LOT of ink on a white background.
I also used a chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments.  I cut it into pieces to work around my pictures.
The flowers are a mix of a few different collections.
I added a couple of crocheted flowers along with a felt and velor butterfly.

I was inspired by this very colorful mood board from Scrap the Girls:

I love all the different colors and textures!

Now back to organizing...

#FROZEN

Good morning!  Woke up this morning to a lot of snow!  Was not expecting that...but oh, well.  Hoping for some nice pictures.

Here are some pictures from last year..

I used some scraps of wood grain, and metallic papers from DCWV.
The trees and the snowflakes are from Creative Embellishments.
The letters are from a set I found at Michaels years ago.
I used silver Cat's Eye ink on the trees and the letters.
I thought it added a bit of shimmer for the "icy" look.

I used this mood board from Creative Embellishments to get started:

I love the colors and I just happened to have enough pics for this!

BUBBLES!!

Things are winding down....I have to go back to work tomorrow...sigh..
I've so enjoyed this time off with family, friends and scrapping!  But alas, if I want new goodies, I need to keep that paycheck coming in.

This is my last page before I head back to work in the morning...

I used a swirly die cut piece on half of the page.  The circle punches from Creative Memories helped with all the different sized circles.
I used a Q-tip to add a splash of white paint on the circles to give it the impression of shiny bubbles.
I also added acrylic bubble buttons.  These are so cute and I was so happy to finally use them!

This was for the challenge from Scrap the Boys:

I was inspired by the colors, the swirly paper and the transparent circle in the corner.

Wish me luck at work tomorrow!
I so don't want to go...
