Under the wire

I really don't know what I was thinking when I kept putting off this month's challenges.  I just wasn't comprehending that the end of the month was actually here!  This summer is just slipping away too quickly.
I put this page together for sketch #134 from Sketch Inspiration.
DCWV papers
Chipboard frame from Colorbok inked in red
Thickers letters inked in red
Miscellaneous ribbon
And those cute little ladybugs are from a pack I found at Walmart from K&Company.  They have lots of different sets.  I was really hard to decide which ones to get.  I thought these were too cute to pass up.  Thankfully, I found a use for them quickly...lol.

Scrappy-crappy weekend

Well, I had INTENDED on not doing too much this weekend.  I had a few loads of laundry to do.  One or two quick trips with the kids.  Then I planned on scrapping and organizing the rest of the weekend.
So last night, I decided to move my paper stash around a bit.  I use the shelves above the dryer for lots of storage.  I don't have a scraproom, I have a corner, so I make use of every little spot I can find.  The shelves are up and out of everyone's way, nothing gets damaged and I am a happy camper.  As I was moving things around, I noticed that one of the shelves was warped.  I asked hubby to check it out.  As he removed the shelf to flip it over (his way of "fixing" things), the whole bracket slid right out of the wall!  It turns out SOMETHING is leaking SOMEWHERE and the whole wall is damaged.  There is water coming from somewhere and it's leaking behind the wall, so I never noticed it.  LUCKILY!  If any of my paper got damaged, you would have heard the scream...lol.  Okay....not so "lol".  It would have been ugly around here.
Anyway...now I have to take all my stuff off of the remaining shelves, find somewhere to put it temporarily (yeah, right), take down the rest of the shelves and start ripping out the wall to find out where the water is coming from.  We did a quick inspection and we THINK we have a good idea, but the wall still needs to come down and be replaced.  So now my scrapping corner is a complete disaster.  Hubby had to go take care of some things today, so I'm happy that he won't be here to meddle in my reorganization of the room.  His 10 minutes of input this morning almost caused a riot.  His not understanding that this is a TEMPORARY situation kinda scares me....I'm hoping to have this resolved this weekend.  But having to rely on others really throws a monkey wrench into those plans.
Anyway....I put this page together really quick.   I had to wait until hubby left before I could actually move things around.  It helps to save my sanity.
I saw a reminder that I have until today to finish up my sketch challenges for Creative Scrappers.  I can't believe it's the end of July already!
This is sketch #113.
I used the Basic Grey Granola kit for the whole page.  I was so happy to grab a kit and put together a whole page without searching through tons of stuff....which is literally everywhere right now.

Off to figure out what to do and work on some disaster control.  Wish me luck!

Pure Joy

I swear I can only scrap on weekends!  By the time I get home from work, I am too tired to even look at pictures.  I forced myself to get something done tonight instead of just vegging in front of the computer.  Seeing all the yummy goodness coming from CHA is driving me nuts!  If I have any intentions on buying anything new, I have to use up the old.  These papers are from All My Memories from a few years ago.  This company doesn't even make papers anymore.  I think they just make scrapping totes now.  I added a little bling and used metal rimmed tags for the letters and ice cream stickers.  The sketch is from Stuck?!  for the 15th of the month.  I'm not thrilled with it, but I used up some old stuff and knocked out a few more pictures, so I guess I was productive.  Now it's nap time......zzzzz

Life is Sweet

Can you tell my kids are good sports about everything??  EVERYTHING is a photo op for me.  I saw this paper a million years ago and then not so long ago found the cherry bling.  I HAD to schedule a cherry picking day!  They love everything I plan for them....at least in the beginning.  After a while, it got hot out, they were hungry and were tired of eating the cherries, they were tired of smiling, they wanted to pick something else.....and on and on it goes.  BUT...I got the pics I was aiming for.  Now I just have to figure out how to fit in everything I bought without going back for more pics!
I sprayed another doily and added a chipboard circle to it to frame the cherry bling.  The swirl accent was cut from Bo Bunny Chunky Charms and then I added some buttons.  The title was a hodge podge of things I had to search for.  I didn't have a single thing that would work.  I was always missing at least 2 letters!  The sketch is from Practical Scrappers this week.

Today was another photo op with the kids.  We went to a local nature center and the gardens were so pretty!  And we saw quite a few Monarch butterflies, but they didn't want to sit still long enough for pics.  And now my 3yo little boy will only sit still for pics if he can make scary monster faces....great.  Pretty pics of gardens and nature...and scary faces.  He better have this attitude when Halloween comes around!

My three kids

They look so happy....only because they are TOGETHER in these photos.  They each posed separately because they didn't want to be touching each other.  They have been monsters lately.  I can't wait for school to be back in session.  I hope it's just because they are getting bored.  I'm taking them out for a bit this afternoon, so hopefully they will behave.
This sketch is from Creative Genealogy.  All of the pieces are from the same $5 kit I bought at Walmart a few weeks ago.  And I STILL have lots left!  The cardstock is from my stash.  I matted all the photos and them faux stitched them with a dark brown marker.

Wish me luck....I may not survive the car ride...they are fighting already.....GGRR!!!!

Happiness is Splashing

I can't believe how many pages I have gotten out of the Splash Dance collection...and I didn't even buy the whole set!
This sketch is from ScrapbookDeals4U - #63.  Another fun sketch site!
Everything here is from Splash Dance except the doiles.  They are from Wilton.  I cut them in half and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. Easy Peasy!  Love the look!

Sketchy Thursday on Saturday

This was a tricky sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.  Finding that many pictures in the right size was quite a challenge.  I had to keep trimming them down to make them fit.
I used solid cardstock and sprayed it with 3 or 4 different colors of Glimmer Mist.  The strip through the center is from K&Company.  I'm not sure what collection it's from.  I added some fiber trim to the strip to give it a little more definition.
The title was made using Bo Bunny autumn stickers that I cut down to fit.
Not really happy with the final result, but glad I took a shot at the challenge.

Missing the Bahamas

The rain finally stopped long enough for us to spend a little time in the pool.  But now it's clouding up again and the warnings are flashing on TV again.
So I ran back into the house to play with my scrappy stuff a little more.
This is sketch #74 at the Scrappiest website.  They have really fun sketches!  They just seem to work with everything.
I also used the color inspiration from Off The Wall Craftiness. Here is the inspirational color photo:

Materials used:
K&Company papers
Marcella by Kay Vacation title
Thickers number stickers inked in aqua
Miscellaneous flowers - gotta make room for new Primas coming soon!
Miscellaneous bling
Miscellaneous ribbon
Creative Imaginations rubons and book plate - from a CKU class a few years ago.

Off to cook dinner now!

Lovely Spring flowers

I took so many nice pictures during our Spring photo shoot, I'm running out of adjectives!

Here is my take on this week's sketch at Stuck on U Sketches.  Their sketches always have an elegant feel to them, so I'm glad I have pictures like this to work with.

I used all solid cardstock for this, I just inked all the edges.
The larger flowers are from the dollar spot at Michael's and the smaller ones are from Sticko.  The chipboard swirls are Bo Bunny Chunky Charms.  The title is letter stickers from Pink Paisley.

I'm going to take a break before I get annoying....if I haven't already!

The pool is calling my name...and so are the kids.

I'll be back.....

Going back to Disney

I needed a break from everything else going on so I decided to pull out the Disney picture again.  Aside from scrapping, anything Disney is my other escape.
I started flipping through the box of pictures and I quickly realized I still have TONS of pictures to scrap before I can even come close to finishing our last trip...which was in November of last year.  On a good note, I can pretend I am still there just by playing with the pictures and papers.

I used a sketch from Scrapbook Steals for this layout.  The ribbon, title and buttons are all from the stash.  I think the title has been around in my stash for as long as I can remember.  It was just cute and I had to have it.  So I FINALLY found a use for it!  YAY!
Other materials:
metal rimmed tags
Jolee's stickers - Pluto's paw prints
chipboard circle - it's actually from a Halloween set, but the colors worked for this page
chipboard frame - Making Memories chipboard pieces
misc. fibers

I wasn't able to drown out the laundry's cries for help.  I'm trying to convince myself that the sounds from the washing machine are soothing and relaxing and I can keep playing....it's not working.....

Same great sketch....

I actually had 4 different pictures pulled out for this sketch from Monma.  I loved it so much and really couldn't decide which pic to use.  So after working on the previous layout, I decided to give it another shot.  This is the same sketch for this week at Sketches in Thyme.

Again, I used up some OLD stash.  The strawberry paper I have had for years.  Of course, I didn't remember that, so after we went strawberry picking, I had to pick up more.  That's when I discovered I already had it...of course.   So I filed the new and used the old....lol.  The stickers are from Paper Heart by Paper Adventures.  These are so old, I couldn't get them off the sheet without starting to tear.  The little strawberry stickers are from Mrs. Grossman...when I first started scrapping about 10 years ago!  The title is a mix of Thickers letters and a title sticker from the clearance section at Michael's.
LOTS of old stuff used on a new sketch!
I still have 2 pics on my desk that I'm contemplating using the same sketch for....

and it's STILL raining....

A soggy start

This rain is unbelievable!!  The thunder and lightning woke me up and it hasn't slowed down yet.  I read somewhere yesterday that pools in Wisconsin were overflowing because of so much rain....well, we are about an inch away from that happening here!  There is so much water around here, I need a boat.  Either that or just stay in and scrap....hmmm.....

I was hoping to get lots done today, but I can't believe it's almost 8 o'clock!  Where did my morning go???

First up is a beautiful sketch from Sketches in Thyme by Monma.  I had to check out her blog....she is AMAZING!!  Check it out!  http://scrapsketches.blogspot.com/

So here is my take on the latest sketch.  I used some papers from Bella Blvd - Man of the House, along with some chipboard pieces and the flowers.  The leaves are from Prima, and I'm not sure if I like them or not....any thoughts??

The metal frames are from K&Company from years ago.  I love it when I finally find a use for this stuff!  And it qualifies for the challenge at Practical Scrappers - anything over a year old.

So now I have pictures all over the table that I would love to work on today.
Wish me luck!!  The laundry is crying for attention, but if I turn the music up louder, it should drown it out, right??

Another mascot!

So I have this weird obsession with mascots.  Everywhere we go, if there is a mascot somewhere, I stalk them until we get pictures.  I think the weirdest thing I did was when I was driving down the street and there was someone dressed up as the Little Ceasar's Pizza guy.  I pulled into the parking lot, jumped out with my daughter, got a picture with him and then jumped back in the car....lol.   Another mascot photo!  I was a happy camper!
This time we went to a minor league baseball game.  Jammer was hanging out on the field for most of the game.  We were all tired, hot, hungry, exhausted...but I was NOT leaving until I got my photo!   Bottom of the 8th inning, we caught him as he was walking out of the office.  Okay, so I staked out the office knowing he would be back out soon...but I got my photo!
I have more pics of him out on the field, but they don't count.  A family member HAS to be IN the photo for it to count.  I should start a book with just mascot photos!  I have lots!
So here is my page for Sketch Inspiration #133.  And I'm submitting this one to Practical Scrappers.  This week's challenge is to use something that is older than one year.  This background paper is at least 3 years old, from Creative Imaginations.
Other materials used:
Thickers letter stickers
Miscellaneous letter stickers
Sticko baseball stickers
Bazzill borders
Misc. ribbon, inks and metal rimmed tag
And the ticket stubs from the game  :)

I'm hoping to get a fresh and early start tomorrow!  Have a great night!

Better luck next time....

I tried my best at a shot at the Let's Scrap design team, but didn't make it.  :(

CONGRATS to everyone that made it!  Looking forward to all the new challenges!

Oh well,...I'm not giving up!  Try, try again!  I'm really happy with the page I submitted for the sketch challenge and couldn't wait to share.
There is a storm a-brewing outside, so looks like a scrapping night for me!  :)
Here is my page for the challenge:

Finally!

I have been staring at this sketch from Pages in Time for about 4 days now.  I had the background papers, the photo mats, the border punch and the stickers.  And that's where I drew a complete blank.  I could not figure out what I wanted to do with those stickers!!!  I'm not exactly thrilled to pieces over the finished product, but at least it's off my desk...finally.
I'm almost afraid to look at another sketch right now for fear of suffering through another bout of scrapper's block!  Sooo frustrating!!!

Okay...vent over...page finished.

Trying to cool off

So I'm hiding the house, trying to stay out of the heat, working on snow pictures.  Then the skies opened up and dumped a ton of rain of us.  Now the sun is shining and there is steam rising from everything.
What a weird, miserable day.
I was hoping these pics would help keep my mind off the heat, but it's not working!

Oh well....

My latest project is for this week's sketch from Stuck on U Sketches.  I love every one of their designers!

More Heidi Grace goodness.  Yummy papers, with flocked snowflakes!  I cut a few of them out and put them on pop-dots.  The snowflake bling is from Joann's dollar spot.  The sticker title box is from Bo Bunny.  I added the red ribbon to bring Heidi and Bo together.

The Scrappiest Sketches

Both of these pages were inspired by sketches from The Scrappiest.  The first sketch is #73 and the second is Carrie's Bonus Sketch.
All of the papers used are from the new line from Graphic 45 - A Proper Gentleman Collection.  I loved the vintage feel to this whole set.  I still have tons leftover for more pages.  I'm still waiting for my pics from the museum to get here!
I also added some tags and some ribbons.  On the first page, the frame at the bottom was from K&Company.  It's been in the stash forever and I am so happy that I finally found a use for it!

Not sure what subject I want to work on today.  It's going to be another hot one!  Maybe some snow pics to cool me off.....

Easter in July

I decided I wanted to clean up some stacks of pictures I had in my file.  I'm still waiting for the new batch to get here.  These were the last pics I had for Easter of this year.  This great sketch from Sketchy Thursdays worked perfectly.  But, I haven't started the organized, so I had no idea where my Easter stuff was.  I found it after a while and was surprised at how little I had left....  which is a good thing, but....
At least now I can start new next year and buy the latest and greatest when it's released!
The background is solid cardstock.  The center piece was in the stash...no tag, so no idea whose line it is, but it's pretty!
I misted a doily for the circle, added some miscellaneous ribbons and leftover Prima flowers.
Some of the stickers are from Reminisce, some are from Pinecone Press and the eggs are from Jolee's.
A total hodge podge of Easter goodies that all managed to come together.  Now I can officially cross Easter off my list of pics to work on.

Going for a swim!

TFL!

You've got a friend in me

Trying out a new sketch from Studio Calico.  It stinks that I thought I had more Buzz Lightyear stuff to play with.  But I guess since I never stopped to organize or clean my corner, I'll never find it.
Now that the page is done, of course, it will turn up!
I wanted to do a quick and simple page and focus on my little buddy Jason.  This is his favorite toy...or it was at the time the picture was taken.  Who knows where Buzz is now!
The stars are from a package of confetti and the ribbon is from the stash.
I used up some rub on stitches to give it a little something....it looked too plain before.
I printed out the title on vellum and inked the edges a bit.
The tag is from the stash and I just added a Buzz sticker.

TFL!!!

Inspired

Monma's sketches on Sketches in Thyme are so beautiful!  I am so glad I took my daughter around town for a Spring photo shoot.  I have lots of great pictures to work with the skethes.
The hardest part is finding just the right papers and embellishments.  I probably changed my mind about 15 times before I settled on K&Company's Sparkle Flies.
The background paper is also from K&Company's Brenda Walton collection.  It's lightly embossed with cream colored swirls, so it meets the requirements for another challenge at Practical Scrappers.
The ribbon, slide mount and title are all from the stash.  I was in the habit of just taking things out of the package so they would fit in drawers, so I have no idea where they are from.

I was hoping my latest order of pictures would come today....dagnabit!
Oh well...it's not like I don't already have enough to work with...

TFL!

Feeling Tropical

It's going to be a hot one today!  I think I'm going to confine myself to the house with the AC and just get some stuff done....like the dreaded laundry...and some pages.

The sketch is this week's challenge on Practical Scrappers.  I love that I found those missing pictures, but deciding which one to work with took a while.
The background paper is from K&Company.
The bamboo border is from a frame that another picture had come in.  I scrapped the picture on a different page and saved the frame....I can always find a use for everything!
Other materials:
Felt border - Queen and Company
Flowers - Irene's Garden Bag O' Blooms
Bird sticker - Jolee's
Mulberry tags - my stash
Misc. ribbons

Thanks for looking!  I'll be here all day!

The Pig Mobile

Here is the color inspiration for the challenge at Off The Wall Craftiness!!
It's going to be a hot one this weekend.
My car is in the shop, so I can't go anywhere.
I guess I will be "forced" to scrap all weekend!
This sketch is from Creative Genealogy.  This is a really fun site!  Lots of challenges and cool inspiration!
The color scheme is this week's challenge over at Off The Wall Craftiness.
The border punch qualifies this page for the Frosted Designs challenge.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart
Letter stickers - Thickers
Prima flowers
Misc. brads
The felt little piggy was from the dollar section at Michael's.

I'm off to a good start considering I'm supposed to be cleaning and organizing instead of scrapping!  If I use it all up, I don't have to do either!

See ya soon!

Gone Fishing

I probably rushed through this layout and of course, it didn't turn out the way I had envisioned.
The sketch is this week's challenge at Let's Scrap.  And the DT challenge this week is to make a shaker box.
I used up all kinds of scraps on solid tan cardstock.  The fishing stickers are from The Paper Studio.  The cute little fish and accessories are from a bag o' buttons I bought at the Expo last week.  I added a little wire to the fishing pole and attached it to another fish button.
For the shaker box, I had this image of a little lake or pond with little fishies in it.  I cut out the image freehand, added some beads, fish buttons and fibers.
Not too happy with the result...maybe I used the wrong color beads.
Constructive criticism is always welcome!

Off to bed...it's been a long day....

My sanctuary..

Sitting at my desk...glass of wine in hand...surrounding by all my scrapbooking goodies...life is good.
I started this page last night and couldn't think of a title.  This was the best I came up with to get the page done.  The sketch is this week's challenge from Sketchy Thursdays.
The flowers are from Recollections at Michael's.  I sprayed them with a little pink and green Glimmer Mist.  The bling is new from the expo I went to over the weekend.  That had to be the best (and pretty much the only) purchase I made at the expo.  Lamest one EVER!
I also added some random flower ribbon.  The title was made with Thickers letter stickers.

Last one for today

All creativity is gone.  Brain is fried.  I am tired.  And tomorrow I have to deal with that 4-letter word ...(w-o-r-k).
This is sketch #132 for Sketch Inspiration.  I used up some scraps from the zoo folder.  And this time I remembered to pull out the box of goodies from Wild Life.  I don't know why I keep forgetting about it!  There is a ton of stuff in that collection!
The chipboard circles are from the Wild Life set.  I added some flowers and fibers.
And that was the extent of the creativity I had left.
Done.
Goodnight.

Sticking your neck out

I'm hoping to get to the zoo a few more times this year, so I figured I had better start scrapping the pics I had printed up from last year.
Besides...the White Sox are HOT today and I'm afraid to walk away from the TV!
This sketch is #112 from Creative Scrappers.
Letter stickers are from Basic Grey
Everything else was from the zoo scrap folder.

TFL!!

"Mist"-ified

I love the latest sketch from Practical Scrappers!
All those really cool splatters in the background gave me a chance to play with all my new Glimmer Mist.
I sprayed my little heart out!  Had a blast and made a mess!   Hey...if the kids get to play and get messy, so does Mom!
The art stickers have been around for years.  I love finally finding a use for them.  One less thing in my stash!

TFL!!

Monkey Business

Another EARLY start.  Not that I'm happy about it.  Lots of trouble sleeping last night, so I figured I would put that time to good use.
These pictures are from our trip to the Water Park album.  Whenever we go on vacation anywhere, my monkeys have to test out the beds FIRST!  They don't even bring their bags into the room until the beds have passed inspection.
I used up some OLD Reminisce Monkey Business papers and stickers.
The tags were from the stash and I added some Jolee's monkey stickers and fibers.
The sketch is from SD4U - #62

Now I'm starting to realize I got up too early.  Not sure if I want to swim (because everyone else is still sleeping), grab another cup of coffee, work on another page or just go back to bed.....

Happy Sunday!

Lots of Stars and Stripes

Wow!!  I was going over my notes and realized I could get through 6 different challenges with ONE layout!
The papers were all from a set by Colorbok that was sold at Target.  The tags I made myself with some random stickers, ribbon and inks.
The star garland and shooting stars were all from a 4th of July decoration.

The challenges:
1. Let's Scrap Sketch 7-7-10
2. Scraproom Blog - holiday theme
3. Stuck on U Sketches - stars and stripes
4. Scrap it with a song - America the Beautiful
5. Frosted Designs - felt
6. Let's Scrap Challenge #58 - shaker boxes

WHEW!!!  I need a nap!!!

Creative Genealogy

Here is a page I did for this week's sketch at Creative Genealogy.  I had no idea what to do for the big circle.  So I pulled out the doilies and the Glimmer Mist and had a little messy fun.
Even though I put the doily in a box and sprayed, I still ended up making a mess and getting overspray everywhere!
The background paper and the flowers are from K&Company.  The chipboard border is from Debbie Mumm.
Letter stickers are from Basic Grey.
Easy Peasy!!
I have to get ready for the Expo!!!

TFL!!!

Scrappy Saturday!!

I'm spending part of the day with my friend at a small scrapbook expo today!  I really wanted to get a page or two done before I left.  One down....
I used a new kit I found at Walmart from Colorbok.  A few patterned papers, 3D stickers, die cuts, letters...not bad for $5!!
This was the family kit.  It was the only one left by the time I got there.  I'll be stalking them for more....
The flower border at the bottom is from Prima.
Miscellaneous Prima flowers with brads in the middle.
The title circles are from the family kit.
I put some of the cut outs on pop dots to give them a little dimension.
And behind the flowers I added some Chunky Charms from Bo Bunny.
The sketch is from Sketches in Thyme.
And those cute little kids are all mine!

TFL!!!

More Splash Dance

I just LOVE this collection!  This sketch is from Pages in Time.  I was just in the mood for a little Splash Dancing.  I can't believe how much of this kit I have used already.  And I didn't even print out a bunch of pictures that I took for this kit!  Looks like I'll be shopping again this weekend!  Oh darn....
There is a small Scrapbook Expo this weekend we are going to sneak off to, so maybe I will get lucky and they will have some there.
Hoping to get some great deals, but like I said...it's very small and geared mostly towards stampers.
Anyway....by the time I finished this last night, I was so wiped out, I couldn't even take the picture.
All the patterened papers are from Splash Dance along with the ribbon and the puffy stickers.
The chipboard pieces are from my stash.  I colored them with Tombow markers and then "glitterized" them with Sparkle Shimmer Spray.
I had some seashell ribbon lace from K&Company laying around that I decided to add in.  And the little circle accents are from Colorbok.  I found those in the dollar section at Joann's.
Okay...I did my page for the day...I gotta go to work now!
Happy Friday!!!

Aloha!!!!

This is what happens when I get over tired and think I can still get a page done.  Not sure if I like this one or not.
The photo mat was cut from WRMK papers.  I bought a ton of it on clearance at Michael's last week!
The flowers are from the leis we were given at breakfast.  I took one of them apart so I could reuse the flowers on a couple of pages.
In the center of each flower is a Mickey Head sticker from EK Success.
The titles are rub-ons from Reminisce.
And I had a little more fun playing around with a Martha Stewart border punch.
I used this week's sketch from Sketch Inspiration #131 and it also qualified for this week's challenge at Practical Scrappers.  :)
I absolutely MUST go to bed now!

Cheating on the Mouse

I only had these last 2 pictures to scrap from Reading Week.  Target stores were having parties celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.  The kids got to read books and play games and have snacks.  It was one of the cutest parties ever!
So now I have these pictures off my stack and I can get back to scrapping Mickey pictures!

Solid cardstock for the background, the circle and the red strip
I outlined everything in black dotted lines to give it a faux stitching look
Target dollar spot dotted ribbon
Garage sale tags from Office Depot
Thickers letters
Miscellaneous fibers
And the cool Cat in the Hat stickers were from the free set of stickers the kids received in their  goody bags from the store.

The sketch is #72 from The Scrappiest
And I am still working on cartoon pages for Practical Scrappers challenge this week!

But I miss my Mouse....

To Love and Cherish Imaginisce

I really do love Imaginisce products.   This page was made using the To Love and Cherish collection.  I loved all the black and white goodies.  I used 3 different patterned papers from the set.
The added ribbon and all the flowers are from the same set.  I used blue Glimmer Mist on the flowers to try to add a little color to the page.  It didn't blend in with the blue in the sky as well as I wanted it to.
K&Company pearl brads are in the middle of each flower.
The picture is also from our Disney cruise.  I woke up every morning at the crack of dawn to get pictures and then ran out at dinnertime every night for sunset pictures...lol.
I wasn't the only one!  There had to be at least 30 of us up on deck!  And my hubby thought I was the only crazy lady running around with a camera.....

Think Tink

Here is another professional picture that I had "lost".  We were able to pose and "pretend" that we were holding Tinkerbell.  Then they "magically" added her to the photo.
More scraps of paper that I had dug out of the box.
I used lots of Prima flowers and of course, Tinkerbell stickers from EK Success.

I think I'm going to take a break and enjoy the pool for a while....

A layout with Character

I Love working with Disney pictures!  I have "collected" sooo much Disney scrapping stuff and I have to force myself to use it.  It's too cool to cut up!  lol
This layout was done from the sketch at My Sketchy World and also qualifies for this week's challenge over at Practical Scrappers.

Materials used:
Reminisce Magic Swirls papers
Reminisce Magic stripes papers
Creative Imaginations Magic ribbons
It's a Mouse thing diecut is from Scrap Your Trip
Mickey head balloon die cut was from a friend
Disney fastenator staples
Miscellaneous buttons
Miscellaneous fibers

I'm running low in Disney pictures...this is NOT a good thing!

Manic Monday..??

I just want to say that I am so glad to have the whole day off from work....but....
I spent my whole Saturday doing laundry and grocery shopping.  Yesterday we had a nice family get together for the 4th.  We spent most of the day playing games, swimming in the pool, bbq-ing and then fireworks.  A GREAT day!
But....I have about a million towels to wash now!  How did that happen??  Oh yeah...conveniently, my whole family FORGOT to bring their own towels, so they used mine.  And being HUGE beach towels, I have at least 3 loads of laundry to do!  GGRRR!!!!
So now that the machines are up and running AGAIN, I am going to spend my day off scrapping my little heart out.
First up....a great sketch from Creative Scrappers - #111.
I think the background papers are from K&Company.
