The Crowe Family

Trying to work on pages in between housework and laundry is proving to be quite the task.

Managed to get this one done without getting white paint all over everything.

I painted the chipboard scalloped circle and then ran silver ink along the edges.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketches in Thyme:

A Few Good Men

Back again with another wedding page.

This page was inspired by the sketch from Scrap The Boys:

This was a lot of fun and laughed at the pictures the whole time!

What a great group of guys!

Fancy Footwork

Good morning!!

Moving right along with the wedding album.  I'm still pretty motivated, but it's getting a little harder to find the right patterned papers.

My biggest inspiration has been sketches.  Here is one I finished using a new sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

I strayed way off from this one, but I was inspired to use up multiple photos.
I used a mist on the background.  The silver is glitter corrugated.  NO idea where I found that from!
And I added a few pearls for an added touch.

Here is the original sketch:

Be Our Guest

Sneaking in a quick page for the evening.

I loved using this multi photo sketch from Sketch N Scrap #186:

I used up a handful of pictures, along with a mixture of different purple flowers, and some bling.
It's so hard to find purple patterned papers, so I'm working with distressing, inks and lots of embellishments.

The Speeches

This is probably going to be my last page for tonight.  I am so motivated to work on this wedding album, but my laundry is being seriously neglected.

I hand cut the shape behind the pictures using a different die cut as a template.
I added two different kinds of ribbon and used a little bit of Stickles on my title.
This is how I got started - using sketch # 187 from Sketch N Scrap:

Off to get some laundry done and maybe a little bit of dinner too.

The Flower Girl

Good morning!!  I'm really happy to be working on this wedding album.  I feel so inspired and I have plenty of pictures to work with.

Here is my first page for today:

I used some bling ribbon leftover from the wedding.  The flowers are actual petal that the Flower Girl used.  I had to remember to add bling to my pages.  The Bride loves her bling!

I used this sketch from Sketches in Thyme # 392:

Wedding - Family

I made it to my goal to finish our 2017 Disney vacation album!  I''m so excited and feel so accomplished!!  I even managed to pack up all the disney scrapping stuff, purge it all and sort thru the stash to pull out all the supplies for the next project.

I decided a few months ago the the next big project will be my daughter's wedding album.

I started out slow...here is my first page:

I already knew I was going to try to stick with the wedding colors of course, but I had to do something different our I will get burnt out on this project after the first 6 pages.

I played along with this month's moodboard and twist challenge from Creative Embellishments:

This picture was one of many taken outside with just a tad bit of Fall color in the background.
I distressed and inked my papers in orange to try to bring in the Fall colors.
I used a chipboard twig circle that I inked with orange and light purple.  I debated adding a shimmer to it, but opted not to.
The purple orchids are leftover from the wedding.  I have tons of them to use to tie in all my pages.
I added some CE chipboard leaves - I painted them white, then went over them with a light orange marker and added some burnt orange also.
The twist to the challenge was to add lace, which I had in the stash.

This was fun and I'm so excited to really dive into this project!

Happy Haunts!!

Hello there!  I am sooooo close to being finished with our 2017 Disney vacation album!!  I literally have about 5 pages to go!!

Here is the latest one I finished:

I used a couple of different sized doilies that I sprayed with Mist and then inked a bit.

I used this month's sketch challenge from Rochelle Spears:

And of course, I had to add a hidden Mickey!

Sticking to my goal to finish this album by the end of October!

Of to see what else I can come up with!
