Carving up Some Fun

Happy Saturday!!

Here's a fun page I did with a few pumpkin carving  pictures from last year:

I started by using this sketch from Nuts About Sketches:

And now I have to go take pictures of this year's mess,....I mean fun!

How do you start out carving pumpkins in the kitchen and end up with seeds in every other room of the house??!!

Have a great evening!!!

He's Hauntingly Handsome

He is the cutest, most adorable little vampire I have ever encountered!  He was so happy to be dressed up as something "spooky" and not "cute".  LOL!  He thinks I lost out on this one , but how can I resist this cuteness!  :)

I was purging my Halloween stash and used lots of bits and pieces that were in the box.  Behind the webs on the left are some Glimmer Mist'ed doilies.

This was so fun to work on!
My starting inspiration was this fun sketch from My Creative Sketches:

I can't wait to get started on this year's Halloween pictures!!

Have a great evening!!

The Vampire

What a beautiful day we having today!
I wanted to post this page really quick before we left for the pumpkin farm.

This is my little guy dressed up as Dracula.
After this, he decided he didn't like being scary for Halloween.

i'm still chipping away and at a massive Halloween stash, so this is a hodge podge of everything that I felt worked on the page.

And here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy, the 3rd one for this month:

Off to take tons of pumpkin pictures!

Have a great day!!!

Jillibean Soup and Strawberries

Another cold, rainy day here.
I'm home and in my jammies already.
The hubby is taking the kids out, so I get the house to myself to play.   :)

I wanted to post this one before I got started on a new project.
I played along with the Jillibean Soup sketch challenge using a mix of collections.
My favorite part are the corrugated alphas...LOVE THEM!!!
I also used some fun buttons and bits of twine.

Here is the original sketch:

Off to make a mess of my desk again!
Have a great evening!!!

And still more Halloween...

These pictures were kinda hard to work with...they could fall under Halloween or Fall.

I went with Halloween and used more of the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found collection:

And the sketch I used was another great one from Let's Get Sketchy!

I'm almost done with last year's pictures!!!  Only about 35 more to go!!  :)

Color Me Scrappy #13

I"m dreaming of being back on the beach again...
I really love Fall, but it's just one step closer to Winter and I don't like the cold.
We were lucky enough to get away a few times to enjoy the beach.

Here is a quick page I did:

Using Challenge #13 from Color Me Scrappy:

I'm just glad I took lots of beach pictures....hopefully they will be enough to keep me warm.

Have a great Tuesday!!

Autumn with Basic Grey

I decided to take a break from Halloween pictures and play with the sketch challenge from Basic Grey.

I used a mix of a couple different collections and gave my plaid border punch a workout.  I love all the chipboard flowers and the frame worked out perfectly!

Here is the original sketch:

Off to work on more before the storm comes in....tornado warnings are starting to show up!

Stay safe!!

LOTS of Halloween FUN!

BOO!!

I"m finally taking a chunk out of last year's Halloween pictures!

Gotta take advantage of those cold, rainy days when you are stuck in the house...
I managed to get quite a few pages done and I'm almost done with all of them.

Here is my favorite:

And here is my inspirational sketch:

next is both of my younger babies:

using this sketch from Artful Delight:

I switched up the color scheme for this one:

and here is the original sketch:

Back to the orange and black combo:

Love the banner/flags on this one from Let's Get Sketchy:

I stuck with that idea for this page too:

which followed this sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches:

And finally...I used a bit of Stickles on this one and had to wait for it to dry a bit.  I always end up putting my hand in it somehow...

and here is the sketch I used by Creative Scraps:

Whew!  Time for a break!  Then back to work, as it's still raining...oh darn.   :/

Almost Halloween!

Time to get moving on last years' Halloween photos before I start taking tons of new ones!

I love this collection from My Mind's Eye!
I did a little fussy cutting on the border pieces and added lots of Stickles to the banner pieces.
A little bit of bling and a couple of cute spiders....Viola!

My starting point was this sketch from Stuck on U Sketches:

And then I had this adorable picture  of my little guy and his favorite Halloween shirt:

I mixed lots of older collections and bits of ribbon to put this together.
And here is the sketch that inspired me:

This is #90 from Sketches in Thyme.

Sigh...only about 40 more pictures to work on....

Color Inspiration by Imaginisce

Good evening!!!

I just wanted to share a page I made using the October challenge from Imaginisce, which was this color palette:

I pulled out the stash and used an older collection by Imaginisce and a few leaves from the flower drawer, to make this:

A little bit more red than I originally planned, but I'm happy with the results.

Have a great evening!

C'est Magnifique!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the beautiful sketches from C'est Magnifique!
This one was so much fun to play with.

My first point of inspiration was of course, the sketch from C'est Magnifique...

And I used a challenge from Flourish with a Bling, which was to create a boy's page using bling.

After pulling out lots of blinged flourishes, miscellaneous bling, a few flowers and of course a picture of the most handsome little boy I know,...this is what I created...

My next page was made using this month's template challenge from Die Cuts With a View:

And using the Gilded Orchard stack and a few gold brads...we have...

Time to make Sunday dinner!!

Enjoy your evening!!
