Fun and games

We recently went to an old family favorite restaurant.  It was so nostalgic for us and we had an amazing time and enjoyed amazing food.

Surprisingly, on the way out of the restaurant, my kids decided they HAD to try to win us a prize as a thank you for the night out.

They each took turns on the crane game, again and again.  It took them about an hour, but they did it!

They won us this cute little bear!

I had so much fun sitting back and enjoying my kids spending so much time together having fun.

I was inspired to make this page by the "working together" challenge from Challenge YOUrself.

Football Season

 From one sport to another!

We had bowling Sectionals Tournament this morning, but I had to finish up this page:

I had a bunch of scraps that I was able to use up on this one using this sketch from Rochelle:

I used a couple of big brads, some twine and a bunch of enamel dots.

Now I have to print out more bowling pics!

Thanks for stopping y!!

Bowling

 Good morning!

I snowed a bit last night, not looking forward to going out today.

However, my son is competing in the Bowling Sectional tournament today.

I thought it was appropriate to finish up a bowling page today:

A new challenge from Lasting Memories is to add a pocket to your page.
I added this cute little envelope piece.
I had printed out some honorable mentions on the school's website for some great stats from previous bowling competitions.
I collected a few of them to stash away in the envelope.
My favorite pieces are the wooden accents from Creative Embellishments.

Off to wake up the boy to get his day started!

Wish him luck!

Happy 7th Birthday

Good morning everyone!  Today is another cold, cold day and I am staying in to hibernate, scrap, clean and organize!

Here is my first page of the day:

My adorable niece on her 7th birthday.

I used lots of things from the stash.  The large circle die cut, scraps, Nuvo drops. enamel dots, a wooden piece for the number 7, tags from a Magical Birthday from Echo Park, and some twine.

I was inspired by this month's Scrappy Friends challenge from Stacy - a fun Tic Tac Toe board:

I went right down the middle:
Twine
Tag
Plaid

Time to get moving on other projects around the house!
