It's Pluto!!

Lordy, I sure miss the HOT days spent in Disney!  With windchills at 50 degrees below zero, I would LOVE to feel the heat right now!

Here are a couple of fun pictures of Pluto.  He's not complaining about the weather!

I added some texture by using some corrugated papers from DCWV.
I few pieces of ribbons and a couple of buttons.
I love these fun stickers from Jolee's too!
It was my last set, and I had to bite the bullet and use them instead of hoarding them forever.

Here is the sketch from Sketches in Thyme that I used for my inspiration:

Winter Wonderland

Wow!!  We are in the middle of a deep freeze!!  Single digit temperatures and lots of wind.  I am NOT going outside for a while!  so glad i stocked up on groceries...and adhesive!

Here is a wintery page that I spent the day working on....

I used a few scraps, Creative Embellishments chipboard snowflakes, BoBunny metal charms, some beaded trim, and a LOT of Stickles!

I used this sketch # 358 from Sketches in Thyme:

Snow Day

Well the temps have reached single digits!
I refuse to venture outside today!

Here is another snow page I made today.
Which is NOT warming me up!

I used lots more of the Pebbles, Inc. papers.
I also added a few Creative Embellishments snowflakes that I painted.
I also found some matching stickers and buttons to complete my page.
\
The multi photo idea was from challenge #430 from Lasting Memories.
And with this page, I think I am officially done scrapping all my snow photos of the kids!
Now I just have scenery pics to work with.  YAY!!

FROZEN!!

We are definitely FROZEN today!!
After getting all that snow, the temps dropped too low to get out and enjoy it.
So here I am, hibernating and working with snow pics today.

Here are a few from our trip to Wisconsin.
The kids ventured out onto the frozen lake, which of course, raised my anxiety to ridiculous levels!

I used some old Heidi Grace papers and a few scraps.
I added a few snowflake stickers and some silver glittery flowers.

For the Creative Embellishments challenge, I played with the icicle chipboard pieces.  So fun!
I painted them white, and added some blue Stickles.
I very lightly added a bit of glue and sprinkled some flocking on them to create the look of snow.
These pieces are so fun and I have been kinda hoarding them...lol.
I guess I'll just have to order more!

Hooray for a Snow Day!!

Snow for sure is the theme of the day!  We had about 6-8 inches of snow over the last 2 days and now the temps have dropped to single digits.  This is only bad because there is so much snow out there and it is WAAYYYY too cold to go out and play in it.  This is typical for Chicago snow...

I am playing with some old Winter pics from years ago.  This was from our trip to the skiing / tubing resort in Wisconsin.  We had a blast and there are more pics to follow!

Here is the sketch I used from Sketch N  Scrap:

Have a warm and toasty day!

Night Magic

Good Sunday morning - almost afternoon!

We got 3-4 inches of snow yesterday, so I am considering myself "snowed in" today and "forced" to scrap all day...awww...don't feel too bad for me!

Here is my first page today.

I was inspired by this picture challenge from Stacy:

I used up lots of gold scraps.  This starry background paper has been hidden for a while.
I used a punch to make a few more stars.  As I was looking for my punch, I found this roll of gold ribbon.  After I adhered the ribbon to the page, I was hoping that it would stay curled and not pop off.
Soo...I pulled out the ancient tool called a Fastenator!!!  I have so many Disney staples for this thing!
I chose the one with the black Mickey heads.
I can't believe I had this tool buried for so long!

Whew!  I feel good!
Off to see what other treasures that are buried..

Stars of Hollywood Boulevard

I love watching these fun characters in Hollywood Studios!  They can be so entertaining and the improv is so funny!  I can watch them all day!

I used some glitter paper scraps and quite  a few stars...lol.
Probably from 3-4 different sticker sets.
My favorite part is the film strip pieces and the Mickey heads.
These are all chipboard that I painted black.
I tried to add some shimmer spray but my pics aren't showing it very well.

The sketch I used for inspiration is #355 from Sketches in Thyme:

Have a great rest of the week!

Rock ON!!

One of our most favorite rides in Disney is the Rockin' Rollercoaster!  If we get the chance, we try to ride this several times during our trips.  Sometimes it works out and we can stay on the ride and just keep going around.

Here are some pics from the ride:

I used circle stickers from Reminisce.
A few acrylic guitar stickers.
Some bits and pieces from Simple Stories Say Cheese collection.
Then I punched some black Mickey heads to go with the silver ones we collected from one of our cruises.

I used this month's sketch from Rochelle:

Time for some football!

Disney Bound!!

I have so much ephemera from our Disney trips, I really need to remember to include it in my pages.
Here are our luggage tags from our trip:

I added a chipboard tag, a few ribbon pieces, luggage tags and buttons.

I used this sketch from Sketch N Scrap #168:

And I barely made a dent in the box of goodies.
Sigh....

This Magical Moment

Good morning and Happy New Year!!

I thought I would get my new year off to a great start by working on more Disney pictures.

I used up quite a bit of scraps.  I was inspired by the challenge from Lasting Memories - to use 3 different patterned papers.
Then I punched some circles and added Mickey buttons.
The title piece was found on Pinterest.

Here is the sketch I used from Stick it Down:

Off to see what else I can work on today!
