Holiday Goals

Good morning!!  Day 2 of Nothing to do but scrap!!

I used a cut file filled with triangles for the shape challenge from Lasting memories.

LM #630 - Shapes (April 2022) - Create a layout and choose one of the following shapes to feature on it:

Triangles, circles, hearts, or hexagons

I added some metal brads and worked out my label maker to create my goals.

Grateful

I hope everyone has been enjoying this holiday season!!  It's been busy, chaotic and fun!

Now that things are winding down, I am finding more time to scrap.  It helps that my company is closed for the rest of the year too.

Here is a fun page I created using challenge #629 from Lasting Memories:

LM #629 - New Challenges/New Ideas (January 2022) Create a monochromatic layout and use black and white photos. Neutral colors are allowed (black, white, off-white, kraft, and grey).

I chose gold for my monochromatic color.
Who knew there were so many different shades of gold??
I found all of these fun pieces in the stash.
The flowers are a mix of different sets from Paper Studios.
The papers are from DCWV.
And then I added a few Nuvo Drops to finish it off.

Merry and Bright!

One of our favorite things to do during the holiday season is drive around everywhere and look at all the Christmas lights.  The displays get bigger, better and brighter every year.

These are some fun photos my friend and I took while at one of the local Village Hall displays.
I put this together using this sketch from Scrappy Friends challenge by Rochelle:

We are heading out tonight to see even more displays.
So much fun!

You are one of a kind

Hello!  Before I spend the day decorating, shopping and cleaning, I needed to sneak in one more page for the day:

I used a masculine collection from Photoplay:  I think it's called Man Card.
The colors just worked with my picture.

The tags have been in the stash forever, along with the ribbon and buttons.
The flowers are new from Hobby Lobby.

I played with challenge # 628 from Lasting Memories.
It's a "wedding" challenge - to use something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.

Here is my list:
old - buttons and ribbon
new - flowers
borrowed - a sketch
blue - papers

Adventures in Dining

Happy Sunday!  Things are so chaotic around here - but you gotta find time to wind down and have some fun!

I worked with Reservations at Tusker House digital kit from Kellybell Designs:

After printing out a bunch of different options, I sat down to watch Firefly Lane while I fussy cut everything.
I forgot to get a pic of my mess...lol

Here is the end result:

I am so happy with how this turned out!

Off to sort out more pics for the next page!

Thanks for stopping  by!!

Merry Merry Merry!!

I can't believe it has taken me 3 days to finish up this page!!!  Things are so busy around here, I barely made it to my desk most days.

I love the added pinks in these Simple Stories papers.
They worked perfectly with my Mom's pinks jumpsuit....lol.

I played Tic Tac Toe with Stacy to put this page together.
I went across the middle:
3 word title
two photos
ephemera

The ephemera pieces are all from the same Simple Stories collection.
I also added some random stickers that were in the stash, buttons and twine.

A VERY Merry Christmas!

These are some of my favorite pictures from last year - we were able to find a PS5 for my son!  He was so truly excited and happy!  They were so hard to find, he had given up all hope.

I went through my whole Christmas stash looking for just the right colors and pieces.

I was inspired by challenge #627 from Lasting Memories:

LM #627 - Love Your Stash (March 2022) - Create a layout and use 3 or more patterned papers, stickers (this can be any sticker - puffy, chipboard, or cardstock stickers), trim (washi tape, ribbon, twine, etc.), punches/die-cuts/ephemera, and finishing touches (enamel dots, brads, sequins, bling, splatters, etc.)

I used 3 different patterned papers, 3 stickers, 3 die cuts and sets of 3 enamel dots.

Use that stash!!
