Love Life

I sure wish this rain would stop, although I am getting a lot of scrapping done!

Here is a layout using lots of older stash.

I used this photo from Creative Embellishments as my inspiration:

Here I have some corrugated words from Michael's, flowers that I used some misting sprays on, Big Brads, and a few cattails from Creative Embellishments.  I used some paints and markers on them.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Easter Bunny pictures

I am going to miss these days when my kids loved visiting with the Easter Bunny.   I have just a few more pictures like this to work on.

I used this sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

And we had to use this moodboard for added inspiration:

Here comes the Sun

Good morning!!  It's chilly out today!!  Is it bad that I am hoping that the baseball game is cancelled??  It's an evening game and I'm not looking forward to freezing!

Anyway, the rest of today (and all day tomorrow) will be shopping and scrapping!!  YAY!!!

Here is my page for this morning:

I am loving these vellum flowers!  They are on my list to get buy more today.
This page was for the challenge at Non-Card Challenges - to use a Beatles Song.
I am not a big Beatles fan, so I just did a Google search for songs and this title popped up right away.

Off to check out the internet for stuff!

Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!!!

Crazy Days of Summer

I love how this turned out!  I happen to have the perfect pictures for these colors!
This challenge was to use a paint swatch - any color.
For some reason, I had these blue squares in my stash.
I think I had them for some beach pages...lol.

This was fun!  I'm glad I had them in my stash!  It saved me from making a trip to Home Depot to snag some....lol!!
Thanks for the challenge Kraft + 1!!!

Friends

For this challenge, instead of using squares, I cut up some patterned paper to use the hexagons:

The challenge from Colorful Creations was to use a selfie.
I don't do this too often, so I had to grab the cousins!

Eggs to Dye For

More Spring colors!  I love working with the scraps while they are still on my desk.

I worked with this recipe challenge from Show Us Your Stuff:

I handmade my flower clusters using a couple different punches.
I found some older "stitching" rub ons in the stash.
I added a few strips of washi tape a little bit of white paint.

Got Class?

While searching for some pictures to work with this mood board from Scrap The Girls, I've been sorting thru a lot of my pictures and realizing I have printed waaaayyyy too many.  I'm being more selective on what I am going to actually scrap.  Otherwise, I will end up with thousands of pages and no where to put them!

Here are a few pictures from my daughters college graduation, when she earned her associates degree:

I used a chipboard piece for the title Dream and used a white dabber.  This was for the Black / White + 1 + the word Dream challenge from More Than Words.

My second page was inspired by this moodboard from Scrap the Girls.  I loved all the different shades of green.  I tried to use the lighter shade of green on the flowers.

Splish Splash

While I had these colors and scraps on my desk, I played with a sketch from The Scraproom Blog:

I used my punches for the water drips and drops and added Stickles.
