A Lesson in History

Hi again!  I spent the morning working on a recipe challenge from The Paper Mixing Bowl.

Here is my page:

For my page, I used some layering.  I layered some brochures and some maps from the outing in a page pocket.
I used "twos"...sets of two buttons randomly and a couple of cute vintage keys.
I fussy cut some postcards from patterned papers, distressed the edges and inked them for the "You've Got Mail" ingredient.
I "accidentally" spilled some ink on the background paper.  This is the first time I tried this.  I held the paper up slightly and let it run down the page.  FUN!
And of course, multi-photos made their way on the layout.

This was so fun!  And I was able to use many pictures AND the information for the whole trip on ONE page!
