Blessings

Getting this done just under the wire! This is challenge #6 at Scrap Whispers. We had to use "leftovers" to create a page. I used lots of leftover pieces from a page I did earlier for them. You can see that page here Fall Cuties.

I used sketch #4 from Artful Delight. I had to flip the picture to fit the page.

So glad I was able to complete this page. I started it last night I almost fell asleep at my desk.

Have a great week!!!

Scrumptious Chocolate!!

More yummy pictures! Scrap Whispers Challenge #14 from Rosey was to create a page about chocolate. These were actually from 2 pictures leftover from the Chocolate Fest last year. I wanted to use them as accent photos, but I couldn't fit them in anywhere with the pictures of people. They were 4 x 6 pictures that I cut in half and matted. The background paper is from Creative Imaginations. I bought this just because I thought it looked so yummy. Between the paper being so detailed and then the busy pictures, there really wasn't much left to do with this page. The title is a mix of a sticker from the stash and a hodge podge of letter stickers. But overall I am happy to take these pictures out of the box and get them on a page.

This fun sketch is # 7 from Artful Delight. Gotta love those multi photo sketches! Thanks for the inspiration ladies!!!

Berry Sweet

More fun food layouts from Scrap Whispers!!

This fun challenge is from Sherri. She created this yummy layout and we were challenged to scraplift it in any way. I loved that cherry paper she used! I stuck with a cherry theme to finish up a few pictures from last year's cherry picking excursion. The black cherry patterned paper is from Creative Imaginations. The chipboard pieces are from Mary Engelbreit from Michael's. I used some foam letter Thickers which I colored red. I also used a fun stamp that I found in the dollar section at Michael's. I used up a few snaps to look like cherries.

The sketch is #219 from Sketch Inspiration. I love the multi-photos! And these were the final cherry picking pictures, so I was glad to be done with those too. :)

Good Enough to Eat

Scrap Whispers Challenge #8 - Use this title on your page. "Good Enough to Eat".
I've had these fun pictures of Jason feeding his peas to Daddy. He was very meticulously putting them onto the fork and then passing them off. He did this with almost every pea. We had some great laughs and Dad was a great sport about it. :)

This sketch was from Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays. I had to change it up a bit and only used 2 pictures. I love this paper from American Crafts! Such great colors! And the doily was from the scrap box. I had inked it up quite a while ago and then decided it didn't work for a project, so it was tossed in the box. So glad to finally find a use for it. :)

It's Pizza Time!!

This layout is making me hungry!! Since it's Mother's Day I wonder if I can convince the family to order in tonight.....hmmmm.....

This is what I came up with using Sketch #2 from Artful Delight. I love using these fun die cuts. Of course, I had to use a die cut shape to trace out on the fun patterned paper. These stickers and paper are from Creative Imaginations.

I chose these pictures to work with Scrap Whispers NSD Challenge #10 which was to create a layout about your favorite food. Of course, I don't have pictures of ME eating pizza, but obviously my little ones have no problem posing for me. :)

Fall Cuties

Happy Mother's Day to all!! I hope you have a wonderful day! Lucky me...I get to scrap my little heart out today. We had a wonderful family day yesterday and I am so looking forward to just chilling out.

Here is my layout for Scrap Whispers NSD Challenge #4 which was a recipe challenge.
5 patterned papers
4 flowers
3 embellishments
2 word titles
1 stitching

All of these papers were from a kit I bought from the dollar spot at Target a few years ago. :)
The flowers, buttons and the letter stickers are all from the stash. And I used faux stitching around the edges.

I started out with this week's sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. I love all the little circles. They were a great way to use up some scraps.

Have a great day...off to the next challenge!

Squeezing in some scrapping....

We had a beautiful day today! My youngest daughter made her First Holy Communion this morning. We had a wonderful brunch with the whole family. I managed to participate in a little NSD fun. And now I have to get moving to get dressed up again. We are off to the photographers to get some professional family photos taken.

Here is a layout I did for Challenge #2 at Scrap Whispers. Georgina (who I am discovering REALLY loves cake...lol) challenged us to do a layout of our favorite cake. I had bought this new "toy" a few months ago. It's my new Cupcake Display Tower. I LOVE this thing! Never mind that making cupcakes are so much easier to make!

This photo is from my daughter's 9th birthday party. She had a Twilight theme, so the color scheme was red, white and black. This was the first time I used the tower. My oldest daughter and I decorated the base of the stand with roses, streamers and crystals. I love how it turned out!

I used a one photo sketch from Artful Delight to create this page. Since I had only the one photo left (yes, I took lots of photos of the tower), this sketch was perfect and came at the right time.

I'm also using this for the challenge at Show Us Your Stuff. The challenge was to use trims, ribbons and lace. I used a piece of felt ribbon trimmed in lace for an accent piece. I also added a piece of the same ribbon to the tag and attached it with fastenators. :)

Now I really have to get moving....time for more pictures!!!
