Tusker House

 What a beautiful Labor Day holiday so far!  The sun is just starting to come up and the temps are not bad right now...yet...

I'm up too early to finish up this page I had a bit of a struggle with.  

This week's challenge from Lasting Memories #666 was to try paper weaving.  I've done this before but it has been so long, I had no clue what I was doing!  lol!

Let's just say I have a goal on how many pages I wanted to get done yesterday and due to many mistakes, that didn't happen...lol.

Oh well, I still had fun!

I used a few 12x12 sheets that I cut down into 1 inch strips

Please disregard the inconsistencies....lol

Desserts

 Good morning!  Today is my "catch up" day!  I have some organizing and cleaning up to do so I can spend more time at my desk.

Here is a fun page I put together using Stacy's Tic Tac Toe challenge:

I used lots of scraps for the strips and the flowers.

I went across the top of the board using:

stripes

banners

enamel dots

Adventure is Out There

 Final page for today.  I used the At the Park Adventure collection from Simple Stories.

I love all the colors in the one, and the fact that they covered all the attractions in Adventureland.

I inked along the edges of my background paper.

Then I had what is called a "sticker sneeze"...lol

I used ephemera, foam stickers, buttons and enamel dots. 

It literally looks like the stickers are just all scattered about.

And in between the stickers and dots, are a couple of wooden hidden Mickeys.

Let's Play!

 Good afternoon!  What a beautiful day to have the doors and windows open, enjoying this amazing breeze!

I spent most of my Saturday organizing and purging my papers and I feel really good about the progress.

So today is my play day!

To start off, I completed a Play page :

I used some 6x6 papers and a lot of images printed from Kelly Bell Designs kit - Toy Land Mania

I also added some twine, buttons and a wooden hidden Mickey.

At the Pool

 A nice relaxing Sunday with nothing to do but scrap - finally!

Here is a fun page I put together while I enjoy the last few days of Summer before the kids go back to school:

I used some scraps to punch out all the hexagons.

The fun die cut pieces are from the Summer Basics die cut pack from Miss Kate's Cuttables.

Some of the bubble clusters are on pop dots - same for the cute sunglasses.

Journey to Disney

 Happy Saturday!  Started off with a busy morning helping my daughter plan for her new baby coming soon.  I managed to finish up this page also.

I wanted to stray away from using blues for our flight pics, but somehow, they just work.

The clouds were printed and fussy cut from a digital kit from Kellybell Designs.

I also added some random hearts from Doodlebug.

The stickers are from an older Reminisce set.

I have way too many of the metal rimmed Mickey heads, so I put those behind the clouds.

Some of the clouds are on pop dots too.

And to finish it off, I added a padded appliqué.

Fun times

It's almost the weekend!!  

I had to sneak in a page (took me 3 days to finish) before my super busy weekend.

I used some papers I found at Hobby Lobby, flowers from the new Cocoa Vanilla Collection - Happy Days and a stamped image of some leaves in black.
