My Favorite Photo

I have to admit one of my worst habits when taking photos are posing them too often. I am always in search of "the perfect shot". But lately, I've been trying to relax my photo taking a bit and grabbing more candid pictures.

Here is my submission for the Favorite Photo challenge for the Birthday Party celebration for The Paper Variety. I am having a blast with all my favorites!

This is my latest favorite photo from my daughter's First Communion. Of course, that day there were gazillions of posed photos. But....this one turned out to be the best! I absolutely love this random shot of my daughter and her grandfather playing around after the photo shoot. He was trying to give her a "high five" for doing a great job...lol. He knows that the dress was all a farce...she is the ultimate tomboy. The smile on her face is just awesome...you can tell she absolutely adores him.

Since I still had Echo Park Victoria Garden splashed all over my corner, this was the choice for this layout. The trim around the oval is from Recollections. And I found another sketch site I thought I would join....because I am a sketch-a-holic...lol. This site is called My Scraps and More. I've looked around the site and bit and I think I'm going to enjoy playing along. :)
