You + Me = Best Friends

Good morning!!

In between laundry and packing up the garage, I'm taking a break to work on some pages today.

Here is my first page of the day:

I love the bright reds in the girl's outfits and chose to use nothing but red papers and embellishments.

Stacy's Tic Tac Toe game gave me a bit of incentive:

I went diagonally:

Die cuts

Stickers

Hearts

Now that I managed to finish a page, I have to do some housework.

Hoping to get more done today!

This totally rocks!!

 Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I didn't have much planned for today so I thought I would just get my latest page out there:

This was put together using the Rock On! Collection from Kellybell Designs.

I printed out some of the papers from the collection and laid out my grid:

These are some of the images from the collection that I cut out by hand:

There are so many more images to choose from!

This is one of my favorites!

Handsome Devil

Good morning!  The sun is shining, the temps are rising and I don't have much to do today other than scrap.

It's going to be a great day!

Here is a page I created for the Guest Designer spot at Lasting Memories # 590 this week:

The challenge is " use punches, dies or ephemera".

I used my templates to cut out the circles.

And then I added a few pieces of ephemera.

I also used this month's sketch from Rochelle and the Scrappy Friends:

What's for breakfast??

Hello Sunshine

While my daughter is away at college, I have to rely (nag) her to send me pictures of her to work with.

Here are a couple of cute pictures of her and her friends at a sorority event:

I played Tic Tac Toe with Scrappy Friends and Stacy's board:

I went down the middle with butterflies, circles and flowers.

I used a giant doily I found for Valentine's Day for my background element.

Loving these blue and white daisies so much!

Kellybell Designs - Where Dreams Come True

Hello!!

I usually don't manage to find time to post in the middle of the week, but I am too excited!

I will be joining the Creative Team at Kellybell Designs as a Hybrid / Paper Layout Artist!!

Kellybell Designs creates the most amazing and fun digital kits for anything you can think of Disney related.

And if they don't have it, send them a message and they will create it!

I have been a huge fan for a few years now.

The thing is, I am not a digital scrapper.

I print the images out in color and then binge watch shows on Netflix while I cut them out by hand.

The images are very clear cut, so it's really quick and easy.

I have been doing this for years and it's so fun!

Here is a kit I used called "Magic of the Mouse":

Even the papers can be printed and cut down to size.

All of these images - and them some - are all from the same kit.

Here is what I created using my hand cut pieces:

I added some enamel dots around the cutouts.

I am so excited to be creating with a great team!

Check out the Kellybells blog for more Creative Team inspiration!

And then head to the shop to see all the amazing kits!

Lasting Memories # 589 - Use Those Trims!

Happy Sunday!  It's another day of scrapping and creating!

It's also time for another challenge from Lasting Memories - #589 - Use Those Trims!

I really searched through everything to find just the right pieces for this page.

I used some lace, sheer ribbon and paper trims.

Trims are yet another item that I always forget to use, or I just use one piece.

This challenge made me look around even more to find out what else I could use.

I really like the mixing and matching part of these challenges.

The Design Team has created even more awesome pages to spark your creativity!

Lasting Memories # 588 - Use those Stickers!

I am so happy to be a Guest Designer at Lasting Memories this month!  Every week, there is a new and fun challenge to boost your inspiration and creativity!

This week, the challenge is # 588 - to Use Those Stickers!

For this page, I used lots of different stickers.

It's kinda fun finding all the different types while digging through the stash.

I used paper stickers, plastic, vellum and chipboard stickers.

I don't think I ever realized how many different formats stickers come in.

I guess it's a good thing to look through the stash once in a while!

Stop by Lasting Memories and see what the amazing Design Team created!

I'm sure you will find even more inspiration!
