This page is part of our Punta Cana album.  I love seeing palm trees and sand.  

This came together pretty easily - lots of scraps from the bin.

It feels really good to use this stuff up!

Bloom and Grow

 Good morning!  It's a cool and dreary morning so far, so I'm sitting at my desk working on some stuff before I have to do some chores.

Today I am catching up on some older pictures and a few challenges this month from Lasting Memories.

This month, they are having a Sketchy Seasons challenge.  Each week has a new sketch with a new theme.

I opted to use a lot of floral papers and some 49 and Market flowers.

So happy to have nothing to do today - due to scheduling issues, we are celebrating with family next week.  

So I get the whole day to play at my desk.

Eggs to Dye For

 So happy to have this day off!  We are heading out to the zoo for a fun family day.

I squeezed in a "quick" page before we head out.

Most of what I used is from the Cocoa Vanilla Daydream collection.

I hand cut the bunnies and the eggs.

I tried to follow this month's sketch from Rochelle Spears:

Gotta love when you make sure you cut the perfect circles .....

and then cover most of it up with embellishments!!!

GRRR!!

I didn't even realize what I was doing until most of it was glued down!!

I'm hiding most of that beautiful patterned paper!!

Oh well....

We will be coloring eggs for this year, when we get back from the zoo.

At least I know I'll have more pictures to try this again sometime!

Celebrate

Kinda sad that the 50th celebration at Disney is over, but so grateful that we were able to be there for it!

The final challenge from Lasting Memories is A Walk in the Park.

I immediately thought of my favorite park - the Magic Kingdom.

I used up some stash that I have been hoarding.

Stickles, confetti, padded appliques, gems, embroidery floss, wooden numbers and some ribbon.

I even dusted off a border punch.

And I realized I have a whole lot of picutres of this beautiful castle to work on !
