This week's challenge from Frosted Designs was to use large photos on your page. 8 x 10 photos are the hardest for me to work with because there isn't much room left to do anything. And of course, all the photos I have can't really be cut down any smaller. That's the problem with professional photos when they add their own mats.I crumpled up my background paper a bit and swiped an ink pad across it.
Then I took the photo mat (the light colored one), tore the edges, sanded them a bit, and inked them up.
I love this fish netting stuff and I really need to add it to the shopping list!
The gold coins were from the kid's stash.
All of the distressing was for Erin's challenge at Sketches4All.

I love this!! With a fabulous photo like that, you really don't need to do a lot more on your LO!! but the things you did do look amazing!! You had just the right embellies for this one!! Thanks for taking on our challenge this week at Frosted Designs!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo of your family and you did a great job with the challenge this week-I to find it hard to add a whole lot of embellies to a large photo-but it does make it a bit easier in a way.
