She's so Beautiful

My daughter is so fussy about how she looks in pictures.  Here is one of her favorites..one of the few I can get away with putting on my blog.  :)

And this picture worked perfectly with this color palette from Sketch with Color:

And they also offered this sketch for inspiration:

Thanks for stopping by!

It's Fall...still...

Hi...back again with another layout for today!

Kristi B. had a fun challenge ethos month which was to create a border of embellishments.

Here is what I came up with...I just went down the side of my piece of corrugated paper:

I used a bunch of foam stickers from the stash and a few pieces of raffia.
The corrugated alpha is from Pebbles Inc. that inked with cranberry.

Here is a sketch I used from Nuts About Sketches:

Have a great Sunday!

DCWV November Challenge

I even decided to use NOVEMBER as my title for this challenge.

I used a Premium Pattern Stack along with this month's sketch from Die Cuts With a View:

I fussy cut the butterflies and put them on pop dots.  :)

Here is the original sketch:

Have a great Sunday!

Authentique and Family

Today I wanted to focus on a challenge from Scrapping Everyday Miracles..."Family Ties".

We had a wonderful photo shoot last Fall and I had so many gorgeous pictures to choose from, I ended up printing tons of them.

Here is one of my favorites:

I love all the yellows on the trees.

This collection from Authentique had the perfect shades to use for my page.  I used a sugar spray on the gray background and a black marker to outline the whole page.
Everything else was outlined in black marker also.
The yellow flowers are from the stash along with the pretty yellow leaves.

Here is the sketch from Authentique:

Have a great Sunday!!

Let's Get Sketchy Blog Hop Layout

Good morning!!  I am loving this Sunday morning!
The temps are beautiful, the breeze is wonderful...and there is a squirrel playing outside my door that keeps scaring the heck out of me!

I spent a part of yesterday playing along with the Let's Get Sketchy blog hop.  LOTS of beautiful Fall pages!  So many fun projects to see...and then they gave us a color palette so we could play along.

Here is my Fall page for the hop:

And here is the original color palette:

I think I managed to get all the colors thanks to a collection by Imaginisce....love that tree!

Have a great Sunday!!!

Sigh...here comes the rain...

Well, today's planned were shot when the skies became dark, the clouds rolled in and then opened up on us.  And of course, the temperature dropped about 10 degrees.  Now that the trails are all muddy, no one really wants to go hiking....sigh....I guess I will "have" to stay home and scrap a little more.

Are these two guys too cute or what??  This was from a hike we took earlier in the year.

I love this scalloped circle from My Mind's Eye.  And green circle I had to cut by hand and then I inked the edges.  A strip of burlap across the center and a piece to mount the photo really turned this into a Fall page.  I was a little worried about all the flowers on the die cut...
I also added fun Fall buttons and some strips of jute.

Here is the sketch I used from MOB Scrapbook Kit Club:

And then I took on a challenge Rochelle Spears.  Rochelle's Stash challenge was to use a journal pocket, metal and chevrons.
I pulled out the Simple Stories stash and put this page together:

I used a denim pocket for my journal pocket, added a key ring with a key, and a few pewter brads.

I also used Creative Scrappers sketch #223:

So now the question is to continue scrapping or get some housework done....hmmmm.....
