Oh Happy Day

I finally managed to get page done today.  So many other things that demanded my scrapping time...so not fair!  lol

I used up some old vellum and pulled out the large circle punch.

I played along with the March Tic Tac Toe board from Scrapping with Stacy:

I used embellie clusters, vellum and foam letters.

So happy to have at least one page done for today.

Hello Winter

I played with a bit of everything on this page:

Misting spray on my background, texture paste for the snowflakes, tiny tags with brads and enamel dots.
The fishtail banners are made from OLD Heidi Grace flocked papers.

I chose these pics for the "selfie" challenge from The Studio Challenges.

Love

So glad to finally have snow pics - and even happier that the snow is almost gone.

It was fun for a while, but when the commute to work is treacherous, it loses its shine.

This page I made using lots of scraps (yay!) and some older 49 and Market flowers.  I loved the green of the flowers and just could never find the right page for them.  Funny how they fit into a snow page...lol.

My daughter's jacket brought the inspiration for using these colors.

I'm using this page for the challenge at Use Your Stuff - to use plaid or tartan patterned paper.

And also Challenge Up Your Life - to use flowers.  I sure have plenty of those!

School Spirit

I am so glad y daughter is having a blast in college - even if most of the event are still on lockdown.  She has made many amazing friends.

For this page, I used a stencil and some brown paint to create my brick background.  I have to admit this brick stencil is my favorite!
I also dug through the scrap bin to find the large brown piece and the the denim circle.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketch N Scrap # 220:

Happy Birthday Smile

Good morning!!  Trying to get some scrapping in before a busy day of chores.

This month at Cookin' Up Creations, we are celebrating their 4th Birthday!

Now I get to work on some birthday pictures!

I used up a lot of Jolee's balloon stickers and bits and pieces from Fancy Pants Cake Smash

Here is the sketch from Lasting Memories that I used - #537:

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I know, I'm a little late, but it didn't help that my pictures were delayed.  I did have to dig through an older stack of pictures to find this one of my daughter and her hubby.

It's time for my page reveal at Sketches in Thyme!  This was a fun one!

I found this background paper in the stash - I think it's an older Karen Foster wedding collection.
The flowers are fussy cut from a sheet by Authentique.  This paper was made to be fussy cut!
I added pop dots to add dimension to some of the flowers.
I added some random chipboard heart pieces and the title piece from Creative Embellishments.
I painted them white to keep it simple.

Here is the sketch from Sketches in Thyme that Team 4  had to work with.
I thought about just using some of my flower punches, but after seeing this paper, I thought it worked better for me.
And the fussy cutting gave me something to do while I was watching Netflix.
Stop by the blog and see what the rest of the team has created!

The color scheme came about from this month's challenge at Creative Embellishments:
Black - white - and one color.
So happy I had this title in my stash.

Lovin' the Outdoors

Chipping away at some random pictures.

This was from a bunch of pics my hubby took when he took the kids skeet shooting.
There isn't much out there for this topic, but I did have these stickers in the stash.
I also used up some stuff from the scrap bin.

Here is the sketch I used from Sketch N Scrap #218:
