Merry Christmas - Ho Ho Ho

In between cleaning and re-organizing my house, I'm still getting some pages done!
I have a whole stack of Christmas photos from previous years that I"m chipping away at.

Here is a page that I was able to pull out some older papers again.
The chipboard pieces are from Echo Park.
The accordian piece is from My Little Yellow Bicycle.

The sketch I worked with is #354 from Sketches in Thyme:

Don't laugh when I say that one of my New Year's Resolutions is to use up older stash...lol.
Yes, I just laughed at myself!!
I still love to hoard stuff!  This is a much older collection from Imaginisce.

I added some gifts stickers and a few poinsettia stickers too.

December layout - Day 2

Of course, the holidays always start out with lots of decorating and preparation.
Here is our fireplace all ready for Santa's arrival.
The classic plate and mug for milk and cookies is all ready to be filled up right before bed.

I started out with some scraps from the Christmas stash.
I added gold borders from K&Company.
I also added gold doilies - gold is one of the hardest things to get a good picture of!
The title was something I found in the Christmas section at Walmart a few years ago.
I had to trim off the poinsettias to make it fit.  I then just added them somewhere else on the page.
It still didn't seem "done", so I inked the edges in Evergreen ink and then a little bit of Stickles.

I used this sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

I hope you like it!

HO! HO! HO!...

...23 days to go!!!

Instead of doing a December Daily, I decided I will be doing a Daily December Christmas layout.
Hoping to get 25 Christmas pages done this month.  This SHOULD catch me up with pictures from the last 6-7 years.   And I'm hoping to clear up some Christmas stash -so I can buy all new stuff of course!

Here is my page for December 1st:

I used up some Imaginisce stash.
Lots of scraps, some die cuts and stickers.
I also added some really pretty bling brads from Bo Bunny.

To get started, I used this multi photo sketch from the Scraproom Blog:

Day 1 is off to a great start!
Time to get to work on Day 2!
