Thanks to The Paper Variety this week, I'm glad I had this fun sketch to work with. I'm been stuck with these pictures of my dd's and my sister eating chocolate covered bugs. I had no idea what to do with them....ick!
The buttons that they earned for completing the disgusting task weren't much help either. I understand that they want to make the buttons bright and colorful so everyone can see them, but really people....can you look at this from a scrapbooker's point of view??!! These colors are way too bright and almost impossible to work with!
I used some older papers from Stacy Claire Boyd for the background. It was the closest I had to "match" the button.
A few scraps and a few buttons here and there....
And a fun banner for the title. I just bought these chipboard banner pieces from Maya Road. I inked them up and them "stitched" them together with some purple embroidery floss. The letters are from Basic Grey and I used Tombow markers to color them. This also completes the Frosted Friday challenge which was to use a banner on your project. I'm not a big fan of banners, but this worked out well for the title. :)
