I did this page for Once Upon a Sketch...

The journaling prompt was "a lesson learnt".  While I've been working on tons of vacation photos, I realized that our time as a family is going oh so quickly.  My oldest is venturing out on her own and finds some of our trips boring..lol.  Having them spread out so far does make it a little tricky when planning trips.  So reflecting on our time together and how much longer we will all be traveling together actually brought tears to my eyes!  

Well, that's pretty much what the journaling card says behind the photo.  It's hard to get every thought down on paper....

FROZEN

Perfect for today....since it's a mere -10 below outside....

I was totally inspired by the colors in this mood board from Scrap Around the World:

And I used sketch #116 from Inspired Blueprints.  :)

And these beach colors just keeps me warm enough!  How many more days till Spring??!!

Snowed in and Scrapping ALL DAY!

There is no way I am going to venture outside today!  We got about 10 inches of snow last night, the winds are picking up which is creating huge drifts...and the temps are falling fast.  

So I sit at my desk, watching the miserable weather and work on pages.  :)

This one started to warm me up a bit.  Love these pretty colors!  The color palette and the sketch are from Off the Rails Scrapbooking blog.

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to finish up my Disney vacation album.  Most of my pages from this weekend are going to be posted on my Disney Vacation blog.  Stop by and check them out!

Frozen and Frigid

Wow!  It is SO cold outside!!  And Monday is going to be the worst!  -10 will be the high temps of the day!   

These pictures are from last year...when the snow was FUN!  

For this page I used a sketch from Color Me Scrappy along with a fun color palette.  I used some older papers from Pink Paislee.

And this one is for Scrap the Girls:

I love adding purples to my winter pages.  The chipboard snowflakes are from Creative Embellishments.

January Winter pages

Since I'm still snowed in...time for lots of snow pages today!

Using a Stuck?! sketch and some OLD Heidi Grace papers - Creative Embellishments snowflakes - silver ribbon and a few buttons:

I used the C'est Magnifique sketch and an older collection from Pink Paislee and some plastic snowflake buttons and some ribbon from Joann's:

And a fun sketch from Sketch N Scrap - lots of foam stickers I had laying around and a bit of bling.  And I also added a few decorated photo slides at the bottom:
