Merry Christmas Eve!!

...and the children are nestled, all snug in their beds...
...and Mom should be cooking, but she's scrapping instead!

Waking up extra early today sure has its benefits.

Here are a couple of pages I did at the crack of dawn today.

I'm almost out of this collection by Imaginisce!  I don't know if that's good or bad.  I'll miss the whimsy of this, but it sure makes room for more goodies!

Here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

Tabitha is still one of my favorite sketch designers!

And here is one for sketch #96 from Sketches in Thyme:

Another favorite collection is from Carta Bella.  :)

Here is the original sketch:

I have one more that I need to finish up and then I should really start getting ready for the party today!

Have a wonderful Christmas Eve!!!

And yet more Christmas pages...

I can't believe how many pictures I have and how many pages I have been able to complete!

Here are just a few more...

Lots of fun goodies from Imaginisce!  I love all the of the cutouts and layered stickers!

The sketch is from the Mid Week Mojo from Scrapbook Steals:

Using LOTS of bits and pieces from the stash,  I came up with this page:

This was for the sketch challenge for December from Artful Delight:

And finally, I scrapped another photo card from last year:

So many little things that I found from the stash!  I love how everything always comes to together even though they are all from different collections.

The sketch I used is from Boys Rule Blog.

And now I have to finish wrapping up some gifts!

Have a great day!!!

Scrapping Christmas photo cards

I so love all of the wonderful photo Christmas cards we get every year.  It's so nice to see how the kids grow, when we don't get to see them all the time.

Here is my cousin's son with last year's card:

I used lots of ribbons from May Arts and lots of flowers from the stash.  I also added a few chipboard pieces from My Mind's Eye.

Then I went a little nuts with gold and red Stickles.

This was  put together using this sketch from C'est Magnifique:

Looking forward to seeing what cards come in this year!

Have a great day!!

More Christmas pictures

I am having so much fun playing with this collection and all the fun ribbons from May Arts.

Here is another Christmas page with some ribbons, chipboard and stick pins:

The sketch I used is from Week 3 from Let's Get Sketchy:

I should start cleaning up this mess... I think my desk is under here somewhere...

Have a great day!!!

Let's Get Sketchy Week 2

Week 2 from Let's Get Sketchy offered more inspiration for my Christmas pictures.

I love the vintage colors in the Once Upon a Christmas collection from Little Yellow Bicycle:

And I got to play with the flower kit with accordion flowers.  I creased a few of the die cut flowers for dimension.  And these beautiful ribbons are from May Arts.

Here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy:

Have a great day!

Finally some "ME" time

I was so happy that I managed to finish all of my baking, shopping, wrapping and decorating early this year!  I guess it helped that I couldn't keep the days straight and thought for sure that Christmas Eve was today....
So now I have 2 whole days to play!  YAY!

I really wanted to chip away at last year's Christmas pictures....because I only took a few gazillion!

So I have all my Christmas scrapping goodies scattered all over the place and here is my first page:

These are some fun pictures from our Community Tree Decorating Day at the zoo.  I tried to handwrite that on the border strip.

This paper is from We R Memory Keepers and I added a few chipboard pieces from My Mind's Eye, and piece of pretty ribbon.

And my inspiration came from the Week 1 sketch challenge from Let's Get Sketchy:

...and it's still early and not a creature is stirring...time to play a bit more!!

Have a great day!!!

Finally! A sports page!

I am so thrilled that my little guy is now an active participant in basketball, soccer and t-ball!  Now I can play with all kinds of sports goodies!

I have been collecting a huge stash of papers and embellishments for a while now, just waiting for the chance!

Here is one of the latest pictures:

This is a mix of a few different patterned papers.  My favorite is the textured basketball paper!  And the giant basketball is a wooden accent piece.

My little buddy is proud to show off his medal!

And here is the sketch from Boys Rule blog that inspired my page:

Have a great evening!!
