Exploring

Some of my favorite times are spent with my daughter going on day trips.  We keep it close to home, leave early in the morning and we make it back home by nightfall.  We enjoy nature, fun shops, exploring little towns, and of course, coffee!

I used this month's Tic Tac Toe board from Stacy's Scrappy Friends challenge:

I went across the top:
foam (foam tape to give clusters dimension)
enamel dots
Two photos

I also fussy cut the butterflies from the patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Celebrate USA

Happy 4th of July!!  I have so much to do and yet, here I am, working on pages...lol.

This sketch from Rochelle and a Tic Tac Toe board from Stacy for the Scrappy Friends challenge was calling me and I couldn't ignore it.  This was so fun to put together:

I used the Americana Summer from The Scraproom Blog double shot kit.
I pulled out some stencil butters and stencil to make the circles.
I also dug through the stash and found a bunch of star confetti to add.

Here is the Rochelle's sketch:

and here is Stacy's Tic Tac Toe board - I used stickers, 4 patterned papers and a mixed title:

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful and SAFE 4th of July!!!!

Goofy!

What a beautiful day to have off from work!  I just took care of a bunch of chores and errands and now I can play at my desk - guilt free!

Here is a quick page I did before lunch:

Clearing out some really old stash - these papers and stickers are from Sandy Lion from many, many years ago.

I was inspired to use the scrap to make triangles by Rochelle's sketch from the Scrappy Friends challenge:

What a great way to use up some random pieces of the patterned paper!

I also played Tic Tac Toe with Stacy from the same Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used a white base, triangles and a big Goofy diecut.

Off to eat some pizza!

We left them by themselves but afterwards, of course I need to get some pics!

I used flowers, 2 photos and lots of silver sequins and silver letters.

All Bundled Up

Happy Valentine's Day!  I get to spend most of the day playing at my desk...in between laundry and maybe a little dusting.  And one quick trip to the store.

Here is a fun page I put together this morning.

I was inspired by this Tic Tac Toe board by Stacy at the Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used a shade of red, vellum ( to tone down the patterned paper) and ephemera.

Most of these goodies are so old and were in the bottom of the drawer.
Sticking with my resolution to use up old stash!

Thanks for stopping by!

BRR..so cold!!

We like to take our kitties outside to check out the snow.  They are always watching the birds and squirrels play, we thought we'd let them see what it's all about.

Love all circles that help me use up some patterned papers from the stash.

Thanks for stopping by!

Purrfect Christmas

Good morning and Happy New Year to all!!

I am enjoying these last few days off from work.  I am hoping to get a few pages done, lots of organizing done, and maybe a small project or two around the house.

Stacy from the Scrappy Friends challenge blog started off the new year with this Tic Tac Toe board:

And here is my page:

I used word stickers, tag and twine.

My kitty was not happy to wear this collar for pictures...lol.
But I still managed to get these fun pictures of her.

Good morning and Merry Christmas to all!!  We had a wonderful holiday spending time with family and friends.

Now the serious business starts - printing and scrapping all the fun pictures!  lol

I used this fun Disney kit from Miss Kate's Cuttables.

My inspiration came from this month's challenges from the Scrappy Friends ladies.

I used stripes, circle and 49 and Market rubons.

Now I have to figure out where to put my newest supplies I was lucky to receive for Christmas!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!

Beautiful October

Spending my morning working on pages and avoiding the chilly weather.

I love these pictures of my granddaughter and I have used them a few different times.
This page was created using some much older Authentique pieces.
I think the background paper is Simple Stories.
I added a few textured elements - the lace hearts, the flowers and some bows, along with a bit of lace trim.

This page was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe board from the Scrappy Friends challenge by Stacy.
Here is the board:

I used lace, a bow and I used number stickers for the year.

Costume Parade

Good morning!  I cannot believe that Fall is here already!  It's already so cold and gloomy outside.

Perfect time to stay inside and work on a few pages..

Here is a page I made for the Scrappy Friends challenge by Rochelle Spears:

I used lots of scraps, some fun felt pumpkins, enamel dots and I even dug out a border punch to use.

And here is the sketch by Rochelle:

Hello Friend

How fun is this guy hiding in the sunflowers!

So many fun surprises in the sunflower field last year.
Loved spending quality time with my daughter and having a nice relaxing day.

She loved all of the hidden gems and photo ops.

My inspiration for this page came from the August Scrappy Friends challenges by Rochelle and Stacy.

I used some real burlap paper for the big circle.
Then I used some blue and yellow stencil butter to create the splatter look on the background.

I used 4 patterned papers
tag
2 photos

I think this was the last of the pictures from our trip last year.
Now to get more pictures this year!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Little Miss Independent

Good Morning and Happy 4th of July!!  I am lucky enough to have some time off, great weather (kinda) and really nothing to do.  I plan  on using this valuable time to really knock out some projects.

My first page of this long weekend is a fun one mad just for the holiday:

I dug through my stash and used some scraps.  I also found some flair and acrylic firework pieces.
I just bought this huge bag of fun star stickers covered in glitter.
And I was able to use some ribbon with stars.
What a great way to use up old stash!

I was inspired by this month's Tic Tac Toe board from Stacy and the Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used the acrylic firework pieces, foam star stickers and star ribbon.

Have a safe and fun holiday!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Wonderland

Good morning!  Getting closer and closer to finishing up our Colorado trip!  Other than sneaking in a few other pics here and there, I should be done with this album in a week or two.   And I already have the album to put the pages in, so I am ready to be done!

I'm not big on working with two page sketches, but I really wanted to knock out a bunch of pictures at once.  Success!

I had fun playing with this page using Stacy's Tic Tac Toe board from this month's Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used stickers, circles and Nuvo Drops.

This came together so easy and I love it!

Thanks for stopping by!!

You are the Sunshine of my Life

It is too hot outside, so I've been spending lots of time at my desk working on pages.  I'm almost done with our Colorado book, but I've also been sneaking in a few other things.

Here is a page for my granddaughter:

I used this sketch from Rochelle and the Scrappy Friends challenge:

I had to make a few corrections - where my kitty decided to step in the wet Nuvo Drops and spread it on the page....grr!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
