Last Christmas pages..

I realized that it will be sometime in June before I manage to finish scrapping all the Christmas pictures I took last Christmas!  I can't help that we have so much fun, I have a great family and the pictures are awesome!

Trimming the Tree

YAY!  I was able to get another page done today!  Work tomorrow really puts a kink in my mojo.

I used 3 different border punches on this page.  That was the challenge from Scrap Our Stash, along with a sketch.  The bad part was that somehow I  managed to break one of my punches.  :(  

Or maybe that's just another excuse to go shopping again.  :)

The ornaments are more chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments.  I inked a few of them, and used Liquid Pearls on others.  I even inked  the Thickers letters for the title.  Needless to say, my hands, fingers, desk and jeans are quite colorful today.

Winter Wonderland

I had a ton of fun playing with this page.  I used LOTS of pieces from Creative Embellishments.  

Here is the mood board and the sketch that inspired me with the gorgeous colors:

I used some inks, Liquid Pearls and a bit of Stickles on the title and the snowflakes.  

The color scheme and the sketch are from the December challenge at Scrap Around the World.

S.W.A.T. and Santa

Good morning!  I"m back with another Christmas page!  This time I used one of my favorite pictures of my little guy and Santa.

This page was made for Drill #22 from S.W.A.T.  We were to use the sketch provided and include Santa somewhere in our page.  I had some fun buttons from DCWV that I added.  And I also played with some Stickles and Liquid Pearls on the presents.  These are chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments.  I added DCWV buttons to those too.   :)

Joy - Peace - Love

Determined to take a chunk out of last Christmas's pictures, I woke up super early today and got to work.  I really miss doing this on a daily basis.   :(

This was inspired by Pixels and Papers.  The challenge was an inspirational photo.  I love the black and white photo and was happy to use a Christmas card from a family member for the page.

The sketch I used is from Sketchabilities #105.  I was able to use quite a few Christmas paper scraps that I refused to throw away.  :)

And lots of pretty poinsettias that I found at Michael's.

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Well, I failed on my layout a day challenge.  This whole holiday thing managed to sneak up on me too quickly this year.

But since my OCD kicked in last night, I am all ready for family today and have a little time to myself.

Christmas Eve evening is always when we exchange gifts with our kids.  We always have the best time, it's quiet and very special.  I love capturing their faces and excitement.

I made this using another sketch from Stuck?! Sketches.

I LOVE these glitter papers from My Mind's Eye!  This is one of my favorite collections for Christmas!!

December 10th - Holly Jolly

I pulled out lots of older stash for my December 10th page for C'est Magnifique...

The papers are all from We R Memory Keepers...along with the chipboard tags and title.  The holly is wooden pieces from Michael's.  I added some paper holly leaves behind the wooden pieces.  Then I played with more Liquid Pearls to add a few highlights.

December 9th - Winter

Here is a COLD page I completed using my new goodies from Creative Embellishments. 

This was so fun to do!  The pieces from Creative Embellishments are chipboard  - the dripping icicles, the little snowflake frame around the left picture and some random snowflakes all over the page.  I got to play with Stickles, Liquid Pearls, a paint dauber and some inks!  

AND I used this month's sketch and inspirational picture!

December 6th - A Time to Wonder

For the 6th day of my challenge, I used a sketch from Sketchbook 365.

I also had some fun with some new Stickles.  Everything is outlined in green, sparkle and red.  And I am in love with the plaid flowers!

Day 2 of my December challenge....

For this page I used a sketch from Paper Secrets.  The added twist was to use metal.  I added some gold brads to the centers of the snowflakes and ornaments.   :)

December 1st - Noel

It's been quite a while since I was able to sit and actually work on some pictures.

I decided that my "December Daily" was going to be more about working on my Christmas pages and taking more pictures.  I have my list of prompts and a charged up camera.
