Zoo-riffic!

We had the BEST time at my granddaughter's 2nd birthday party!  It was a Zoo theme and it was the cutest ever!  Here are some pics of her enjoying her gifts:

I used this month's sketch from Rochelle from the Scrappy Friends challenge:

A lot of these elements have been in the stash for a while.
I was happy to have inspiration to finally use them up!

Thanks for stopping by!

Boo!

Happy Sunday!  Not much to do today but organize and clean things up...and work on some pages!

Here is a fun page I did for Stacy's Tic Tac Toe board from the Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used lots of stuff that has been in the stash for quite a while.
Chipboard letters, web trim, and some enamel shapes.

I used die cuts, stickers and torn edges.

Beautiful October

Spending my morning working on pages and avoiding the chilly weather.

I love these pictures of my granddaughter and I have used them a few different times.
This page was created using some much older Authentique pieces.
I think the background paper is Simple Stories.
I added a few textured elements - the lace hearts, the flowers and some bows, along with a bit of lace trim.

This page was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe board from the Scrappy Friends challenge by Stacy.
Here is the board:

I used lace, a bow and I used number stickers for the year.

Costume Parade

Good morning!  I cannot believe that Fall is here already!  It's already so cold and gloomy outside.

Perfect time to stay inside and work on a few pages..

Here is a page I made for the Scrappy Friends challenge by Rochelle Spears:

I used lots of scraps, some fun felt pumpkins, enamel dots and I even dug out a border punch to use.

And here is the sketch by Rochelle:

Hello Friend

How fun is this guy hiding in the sunflowers!

So many fun surprises in the sunflower field last year.
Loved spending quality time with my daughter and having a nice relaxing day.

She loved all of the hidden gems and photo ops.

My inspiration for this page came from the August Scrappy Friends challenges by Rochelle and Stacy.

I used some real burlap paper for the big circle.
Then I used some blue and yellow stencil butter to create the splatter look on the background.

I used 4 patterned papers
tag
2 photos

I think this was the last of the pictures from our trip last year.
Now to get more pictures this year!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Little Miss Independent

Good Morning and Happy 4th of July!!  I am lucky enough to have some time off, great weather (kinda) and really nothing to do.  I plan  on using this valuable time to really knock out some projects.

My first page of this long weekend is a fun one mad just for the holiday:

I dug through my stash and used some scraps.  I also found some flair and acrylic firework pieces.
I just bought this huge bag of fun star stickers covered in glitter.
And I was able to use some ribbon with stars.
What a great way to use up old stash!

I was inspired by this month's Tic Tac Toe board from Stacy and the Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used the acrylic firework pieces, foam star stickers and star ribbon.

Have a safe and fun holiday!!!

Wonderland

Good morning!  Getting closer and closer to finishing up our Colorado trip!  Other than sneaking in a few other pics here and there, I should be done with this album in a week or two.   And I already have the album to put the pages in, so I am ready to be done!

I'm not big on working with two page sketches, but I really wanted to knock out a bunch of pictures at once.  Success!

I had fun playing with this page using Stacy's Tic Tac Toe board from this month's Scrappy Friends challenge:

I used stickers, circles and Nuvo Drops.

This came together so easy and I love it!
